Chinese 1891-1911 World's Fair Souvenir Seated Elder Farmer Mud Man Figure. Moderate size. Sun tanned skin (tea dyed unglazed pottery). Yellow lined blue coat over blue pants. Note the detail on the shoes "straw" hat. Holding a hoe a stick which may have had something attached to the end. Firing flaw at the back of the hat. 4 7/8" with stick, 2 3/16" w., 2.5" d.
