A rare and charming pre-electric Christmas lighting ornament, beautifully crafted from mouth-blown glass. This delicate piece reflects the artistry and care of early holiday decorations, created before the advent of electric tree lights. Its elegant form and subtle variations in the glass highlight its handmade nature, making it a wonderful addition to a traditional Christmas display or an antique feather tree. The ornament measures approximately 3.88 inches in total height including the original wire hanger; the dimensions listed refer to the glass portion alone. It remains a lovely example of early holiday décor, preserved in very good condition consistent with age. This ornament was found at an estate sale in Nuremberg, Germany, a city renowned for its long-standing Christmas traditions. This ornament was probably made in Lauscha a city in Thuringia Germany well known for there Christmas ornament craftsmanship. A delightful collectible that adds history, warmth, and authentic European character to any festive or vintage ornament collection.
