A Vietnam war naval "Air Medal" and issued to lieutenant commander Dennis Moore of the U.S. Navy for "meritorious achievement in aerial flight. The medal (complete set of medal and ribbon) comes in its original presentation boxes. Lt. commander Moore's story is truly amazing as he was a POW for seven and a half years; a true American hero! #3817
The Air Medal (AM) is a military decoration of the United States Armed Forces. It was created in 1942 and is awarded for single acts of heroism or meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight.
