Impressive rare large etching of a 'War-" Horse-market. - This print has been professional doubled with Japanese paper (several small tears have been closed); printing flaw in top op image; some scattered (ink?)stains; lower corners cut off. A horse market outside a city. A woman trades in food on the street. The masts of ships are visible on the right. In the background is the city gate of a city. At the bottom of the margin a six-line text in Latin and a six-line text in Dutch. Producer: printmaker: Jan van Huchtenburg (mentioned on object)writer: David Fransz. van Hoogstraten (mentioned on object)writer: François Halma (mentioned on object) dedicated to: Frederik Willem I king of Prussia (mentioned on object) (Reference: Hollstein 8, only state) Seize of image: 48,5x58,5 cm.
