Neal Preston's collection of behind the scenes Led Zeppelin shots are some of the most revealing ever photographed. The more legendary a rock band becomes, the harder it is to peer through the myth. And the more unpredictable and off color their actions, the harder it is for an outsider to get inside and gain their confidence to photograph their real world. Preston and his "candid" camera were right t, on their private jets, at the after shows ; live recording sessions taking unique pictures during their 70's reign as the Lords of Misrule. This is a very sought after and out of print photo collection...

1928 The Torrents of Spring
By Ernest Hemingway
Located in Bath, GB
A finely bound copy of this lesser known satirical novel by great American author Ernest Hemingway, the second edition.
The second edition of this work, which was first published in 1926.
Smartly rebound in a half morocco binding with marbled paper to the boards.
A lesser known work of Ernest Hemingway, this novella was written as a parody of 'Dark Laughter' by Sherwood Anderson.
Hemingway takes a satirical look at pretentious writers in this novel and in its publication. He wrote it in only ten days, and received a mixed reaction when first published, partly as it was published in the same year as 'The Sun Also Rises...

Dr. Auzoux’s Historic Full Sized Horse Model
By Dr. Louis Auzoux
Located in Peekskill, NY
This is one of the largest and rarest of the Dr. Auzoux papier mâché anatomical models. It’s also one of our most ambitious offerings. This prized 1846 first generation handmade model dates to the mid-1800s. I am told that there are almost 200 separate removable parts. It was recently found tucked away in a barn for over 20 years and is fresh to the market. A handful of Auzoux full size horse...

Large 1930s Ford Tin Goose Tri-Motor Airplane Model
Located in Peekskill, NY
This is a large delicate tin model made around the same time the real Tin Goose was flying. The wingspan is an impressive 40 inches. The wheels are rubber and the 4 part windshield is glass. I'm surprised the model survived in such nice and complete condition for about 90 years. We had a custom display stand made for it that brings it to another level.
Between 1926 and 1933 some 200 Trimotors were built in Ford's own factory. Corrugated metal on great thick monoplane wings was a German development, used in Junker JU-52 planes that were flying the Berlin-Rome-London route. Trimotors were flown by airlines, oil companies and wealthy individuals. The Ford Trimotor...
