About the Item

Art Deco solid wood articulated, hand-carved and hand-crafted wood figure of a person. Known as artists' mannequins or lay figures, these posable figures were used in art classes as models for drawing human forms. Features a metaphysical face, jointed at the neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, waist, hip, knee and ankle. The mannequin is made of carved oak wood with brass screws. In all good vintage condition with some fading wood, wear and tear due to History. Marked at the shoe base, Morilla Maniquette, Japan and it is made in the 1950s. Measurement: Height: 16 inches x 2 x 5.5 inches length.
