About the Item
Antique early 20th century Edwardian solid silver desk bell in the form of a pig. The piece is partly cast and finely hand-chased. The bell mechanism is housed within the body, and once wound, it can be rung by pressing either the nose or the tail. It remains in full working order.
Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1903 (h), Maker's mark WH (William Hornby).
