About the Item
Ferrari Freccia Rossa speed motorboat is a very rare vintage decorative object handcrafted in mahogany wood, metal and leather finishes.
Scale model of the exclusive Ferrari F430-Engined speedboat.
Very good conditions except for some lack of enamel on the sides due to the time.
Eugenio Molinari defined as the fastest man in the world in open water, in almost half a century has collected countless victories in important and very hard races, testing not only his talent as a driver, but also his ingenuity as a builder and designer (he started the shipbuilding business at 14, building his first wooden boat in his grandfather's carpentry). His palmares include 72 world records.
At the age of 71, set two new world speed records on Lake Como in 2007, piloting a boat powered by the Ferrari F430 engine.
As a passionate Italian (and Ferrari fan), Molinari dedicated his feat to the company’s 60th anniversary, and Ferrari supremo Luca di Montezemolo.
