An Italian silver miniature printing press by Menegatti Brothers.
A silver miniature printing press on a marble base, after an example of a printing press from the 19th century. Made by the Menegatti brothers, Italy, worked during 1949- 2008 Vicenza. Silver purity 800 / 1000. The printing press has been re-hall marked by the Dutch silver mark Master Fa. H. Hooykaas Schoonhoven silver factory (1946- present) With the silver hallmark Z between dots (used from 1987 in The Netherlands) for 800 / 1000 of silver purity. The handle at the left is in working condition to move the plate rotating under the pressure plate.
The measurement with the base is 13 cm high, 9 cm wide and the depth is 6 cm.
The miniature object is 11 cm high, 6 cm wide and the depth is 4.5 cm.
The weight is 444 grams.
