About the Item

This miniature cast bronze architectural model of the Trajan Column dates to the 19th century to commemorate one of the Grand Tours of Europe. There is no foundry mark noted, but this bronze is presumed to have been cast in France. The bronze is very well executed and shows significant detail. The bronze was sold from Christie's at some point and retains their paper label on the bottom.
