Hallmarked in Edinburgh in 1987 by Thomas Buchanan, this handsome, sterling silver model of a plane, is presented on a wooden stand with a vacant cartouche ideal for engraving a presentation inscription. The model measures: 9.5" (24cm) tall, by 13" (33cm) in length, by 15.75" (40cm) across the wings, and weighs 36.7 troy ounces including the base. The vertical stabiliser and rudder of the plane model are engraved with the crest of the Scottish Fisheries Protection Agency, part of the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, and the plane itself is a model of a Fokker F27...
