8 Antique Christmas Putz Houses
Here we have from the local estate of the original owner a VERY Rare group of 8 Large Putz Houses in their original box. At first I thought that they might not have ever been removed from the box or used because of their amazing condition but then upon removing them to take the photos I noticed some feather Christmas tree feathers in the box indicating they were displayed at least once at some point.
There are 8 houses and each one is completely original. They are all 7 1/4" wide by 4" deep and between 5 1/4" to 5 1/2" tall except for the last one on the bottom row right hand side which is a later addition and is 7 7/8" wide by 5" tall. Each house is stamped on the bottom with "made in Japan". Please note the last house on the bottom row - last house on the right-hand side is a later addition. A few of them have balconies and dog houses. The mica on them is completely there - I don't see any missing areas. The colors are bright and vivid. The paint is excellent. There are no holes damage or repairs. There is the absolute slightest bit of dust on some - but just barely.
The only condition issue is - all the houses do have all their cellophane but many of the cellophane parts have split (perhaps due to the heat - I don't know what causes this). All the cellophane is there - just some have split. The decals on the doors are all original and seem to be in good condition.
