About the Item
A fine collection of Five original silhouette portrait miniatures by the Miniaturist painter Dorothy Turton ( 1900 to 1990s). These are all hand painted in the 18th Century Georgian style; Two of gentlemen, one of a young girl and two of beautiful ladies. They are all signed or monogrammed with individual hand written labels to the back.
Each miniature is mounted on a wooden black back plate, with an oval, domed glass, brass edged frame having an oak leaf hanger to the top.
Dorothy Turton is a well-known miniaturist, who died in 1990s in Bournemouth, England
She was a Member of Royal society of Miniature Painters.

This is an early 19th century high quality porcelain Serving Set of two large serving plates plus 8 matching side plates, all hand painted with different scenes, which we attribute to Rockingham or another quality Staffordshire, English pottery and dating from the late Georgian Regency period, circa 1825 to 1835.
Dimensions;
