About the Item

Very rare stereo by Alain Delon for Mario Sabot, 1975 French film icon Alain Delon (born 1935) later in his career extended his artistic talents to the world of design. One of his notable creations is this rare entertainment unit, the AD 800 Mobile Stereo, designed for Mario Sabot. Combining style with functionality, this masterpiece features high-end Bang Olufsen technology: a working turntable, a radio receiver and a cassette player. At the rear is a fourth compartment, ideal for storing tapes. The speakers are subtly concealed behind elegant brass discs, while the centrally positioned column is equipped with a refined selection indicator. When a function is selected, the corresponding indicator light lights up, adding to the intuitive operation and luxurious appearance. The whole is carefully finished with a smoked acrylic casing and a central column of shiny brass. The front of the unit bears both the emblem of the manufacturer and the signature of Alain Delon himself, giving the design an extra dimension of exclusivity. This unique piece reflects the vision and refined taste of one of the most iconic figures in French cinema. It is said that only six of these copies were produced, one of which went to Sophia Loren. Alain Delon was born on November 8, 1935 and died on August 18, 2024.67500

Abstract vilten art van André Bogaert
Located in Zwevegem, VWV
Bogaert's felt assemblages have a particularly soft and accessible appearance, which no other material he uses can match. At first glance they appear to be wooden objects, but the woolly surface makes it clear that they are felt. To date, only a few works of this format have been released. Bogaert's felt assemblies offer a special insight into the possibilities of this material. While felt is often seen as something functional and mundane, Bogaert managed to elevate it into a medium for artistic expression. The softness and accessibility of the felt contrast with the solid and sometimes robust shapes he created, creating an intriguing tension that invites the viewer to think more deeply about material and form. In summary, André Bogaert...
