About the Item

A pair of 1970s Electro Voice EV SP8B speakers in walnut cabinets custom made for the Poul Cadovius Royal System. Cabinets are notched for perfect fit into the vertical rails of the Royal System. These speakers come to market for the first time from a single estate, and were purchased and placed into use in Honolulu, Hawaii between January 1968 and December 1978. Manufactured in the USA exclusively for Poul Cadovius.

    Wear consistent with age and use. In our listening tests, we found the sound quality very pleasing. Speaker cloth in very good condition. Walnut cabinets in excellent condition overall. The veneer is beginning to lift from the side of one cabinet. Please see photos.
