Scale in degrees from the vertical to 45° of tilt/list.
An inclinometer, or clinometer, is an instrument used for measuring angles of slope (or tilt) or elevation of an object with respect to gravity's direction. It used aboard a ship to measure the list when loading cargo and fuel.
