About the Item

An extremely rare 19th Century well figured oak and brass ships wheel of exceptional quality, grand proportions and finely hand carved with rich patination, grain and finely cast brass banding mounts throughout. This fabulous nautical item features ten elegant ring turned king cylindrical spokes with tapering handles set within a moulded outer wheel inset with gorgeous brass banding to both sides.
