Wonderful 17th century French Baroque cast iron figure of the Virgin praying. Likely originally part of an outdoor shrine as it has been exposed to the elements. The weathered surface only adds character to this exquisite small sculpture. Despite the scale, his piece exudes presence. Professionally mounted on a custom black steel base. 7 inches high Provenance: Jacques de la Verriere, artist, collector NYC
