About the Item
In this listing you will find a stunning antique Orthodox icon, depicting Jesus Pantocrator. The icon is hand painted and covered in silver oklad, with the 84 Zolotnik Imperial hallmark. In addition to it, there is another hallmark - AN (in Cyrillic), which is a hallmark of the silversmith eho made it. Finally, Jesus has a stunning halo in typical Belle Epoque manner, done in enamel. The icon is over 130 years old, estimated to be made in the 1890s.
The icon is in overall good condition, with some signs of time and use, such a small dents and chips on silver oklad, as well as patina.
