Top quality carved and large size Gothic window frame decoration. If you are looking for rare and stylish antiques in the Gothic style then this hand carved piece of top quality workmanship from the late 1800s could be yours to enjoy soon. If you know about the typical design of Gothic church and cathedral windows then you will appreciate this entirely hand carved antique even more. The details in and the perfect symmetry of this hand carved, solid oak, Gothic window decoration exemplifies the quality of the workmanship that European artisans were known for in the late 1800s. In the left side you can still see where the hinges used to be, but we have no idea where this stunning antique would have been part of. As an architectural element in a Gothic Style (inspired) interior this superb condition antique could also be placed in an open window that seperates two rooms (we lack the vocabulary to explain what we mean in a better way). If desired we can also have our restorers professionally close the openings on the left side (where the hinges used to be). This unique antique is decorated with a wide variety of hand carved Gothic elements from top to bottom, such as the quatrefoil elements and the Gothic rosettes and more. It must have taken a very skilled artisan a whole lot of time, focus and dedication to hand create this sizable Gothic marvel.
