All handcrafted and matching pair of colorful meaningful church wall brackets / shelfs. If you are a private collector of ecclesiastical art or if you are looking for the perfect pair of wall brackets for your church or monastery then this decorative and enchanting pair could be perfect for you. These early 20th century antiques are all handcrafted as you can see in our images of the backs. There you can still see the artist fingers 'running' in the plaster. They both are in used, but very good condition. They are obviously ideal for displaying saint statues, but with stylish candle holders or framed photos of loved ones on top they will also look marvelous. What makes this pair extra special is A. that they ARE a pair (which is very hard to find) and B. both come with a happy angel and a gloomy looking angel. The ones on the right clearly are the 'happy campers' (symbolizing the light and our natural joy of being) and the angels on the left are the slightly depressed/unhappy ones, symbolizing the darkness and how a wrong frame of mind (or having to deal with loss) can get you in that state. So although not both are on cloud nine, these angels clearly are presented in the clouds and with their beautiful faces and golden colored wings they always are a joy to own and to look at. Thanks to the integrated, double wrought iron hooks on the back, safely mounting this rare pair tight to your wall will not be difficult at all either. This Gothic console for wall mounting dates from the late 1800s and it has a marvelous combination of floral Gothic elements that make it a joy to own, to use and to look at. All handcrafted more than 100 years ago and always well taken care of, this Gothic Revival wall bracket has the most wonderful shape and a striking patina. This organic design with its natural, flowing lines of the deeply carved Gothic leaves also give it an almost circular look and feel. This rare church relic was once connected to a church column where it would undoubtedly have been the base for a marvelous Saint statue. If you look closely at the image of the backside, you will be able to see that the rounded part has been professionally flattened out so that it now can be used against a (flat) wall. Apart from a few minor imperfections this Gothic antique of approximately one hundred and fifty years old could not be in better condition.
