A powerful and emotionally rich representation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, hand-carved in wood, clay and richly polychromed, dating from the late 1800s. Likely originating from France or Belgium, this devotional statue combines craftsmanship, spiritual symbolism, and historical presence. Christ is portrayed with an open gesture and serene expression, pointing to His Sacred Heart, which radiates gold and is crowned with thorns and a small cross. The robe features Gothic-inspired motifs in crimson and gold, and the original brass halo remains intact — a rare and beautiful detail. This large sculpture of our loving teacher Jesus Christ is in good condition, showing only minor wear and light surface imperfections that give it authenticity and soul.
