Devotional plaque, Saint Dominic de Guzmán. Bronze. Spanish School, 17th-18th centuries. Rectangular bronze devotional plaque with a ring at the top, a molded frame, and a relief figurative representation on the front. It depicts a man in a habit, standing, holding a cross with a Christ figure in one hand and what appears to be a book in the other, with a break in the glory in the upper left corner and objects in the lower area. It depicts Saint Dominic de Guzmán, a Castilian priest and Catholic saint, founder of the Order of Preachers. Weight: 143 grams. · Size: 6,9 x 0,5 x 10,7 cm.
