About the Item

This is a beautiful antique Handcrafted Tibetan Buddhist trumpet with traditional Tibetan tassel. The trumpet is used for religious ceremonies where it is blown along with other big horn trumpets called dungchens, cymbals and gongs to alert the demons and invite divine celestial beings into the space. The total sound created is enchanting and compared to the singing of elephants in the Buddhist culture. Keeping the trumpet at home is considered very auspicious and is believed to bring positive energy into its space. The trumpet can be displayed as a wall decor or even be used as a table top item for your sacred space or the living room.
