Unique handcarved wooden head of Christ with beautiful expression and glass eyes, once used at processions.
Napels/ Italy, circa 1750-1800. Beautiful example of 18th century craftsmanship. The head is beautiful carved then covered with chalk/gesso to create extra details. Some losses on the chalk/gesso.
