St Joseph and Child Jesus with Lily, Antique German Chromolithograph c.1900 This beautifully composed late 19th–early 20th century German chromolithograph presents a tender devotional scene of Saint Joseph with the Child Jesus, one of the most beloved themes in Catholic sacred imagery. Saint Joseph is seated in a humble workshop interior, gently resting his hand on his chest while the Christ Child offers him a white lily, the universal symbol of purity, obedience, and divine election. Both figures are encircled by radiant halos, reinforcing the sacred intimacy of this quiet, fatherly moment.
