Limoges enamel pax depicting the Assumption of Mary, in a silver frame in Renaissance style decorated with scrollwork and five angel heads, ca. 1600. Total height: 14.8 cm., width: 8.5 cm. Provenance: Dutch private collection Silver not hallmarked due to tax exemptions for churches and monasteries Overall in good condition for its age, one small dent in the enamel and restoration in the lower part of the plaque
