About the Item

This finely executed portrait is unsigned and presumed to have originated from Italy and date to approximately 1900 and done in a Renaissance style. The portrait is hand-painted on a porcealin medallion and depicts the iconic image of the Madonna Della Sedia and mounted in a pierced metal frame with a gilt finish. The frame has a ring on the back for hanging on a wall as presented.
