This contemporary Mezuzah by Studio Gaïa transforms a sacred object into a piece of collectible design, an encounter between tradition and modern sculpture.
Carved by hand from Rosso Levanto marble, white onyx, pink marble, green marble, and travertine, the piece plays with light, transparency, and texture. Each stone band carries its own energy, from the grounding warmth of travertine to the ethereal glow of onyx; creating a vertical composition that evokes protection, continuity, and beauty.
The letter Shin (ש) is engraved delicately into the marble, symbol of divine presence and remembrance. Whether mounted on a doorway or displayed as an art object, this mezuzah stands as a poetic reflection on heritage, light, and permanence.
