About the Item

A Very Rare Olivewood Etrog Container Hand Carved in Jerusalem Israel in the 20th Century. This Etrog container hand hand-carved in Jerusalem is beautifully designed on all sides picturing different holy sites throughout the land of Israel with Hebrew writing above them identifying each site On the cover is a gorgeous carved laurel leaves fastened at the lower ends with a middle stem holding an open book with the blessing recited on holding and shaking the four species on Succoth. Painted with a yellow and black checkered pattern on the cover and between each holy site. Bordering the cover are different verses written in Hebrew correlating with the holiday of Succoth The cover opens to reveal a soft green inner lining for the Etrog and can be locked with a key which is included.
