About the Item

Showing the lovely patina of centuries, this stunning pair of 18th Century Carved and Painted Italian Religious Cameos of Jesus Mary hand-carved from a solid block of old-growth yellow pine by a master sculptor. The cameo is integral with the frame forming the neoclassical-style surrounding and mounted with ribbon motifs. Exquisite original polychrome painted finish completes the treasure that will make an ideal addition to your devotional display. Circa 1790s. Each measures 20H x 17.5W.
