Collectible, retired handmade and hand painted Reuge Swiss "The King of Love Psalm 23" Russian Easter Egg Music Box. From the Russian Reuge Limited Edition Collection of only 500 pieces made in the world. Russian egg is hand painted all around the egg and is nestled on a wood stand which holds an 18 note musical movement. Plays "The King of Love Psalm 23". The actual egg rotates when wound, as the music is playing, showcasing this stunning work of art from every angle.
Reuge Music, located in the Swiss Mountains, produces some of the finest music boxes. Endowed with a rich history dating back to 1865, Reuge is considered one of the finest music box makers in the world.
Measures approximately 9.5" tall x 5" wide. The base is 4.75" wide.
