Medal. Spain, 18th century. Devotional medal made of gilded metal that shows an image of the Virgin Mary, placed on a pedestal and surrounded by a radiant trilobed halo. Towards the bottom you can see heads of winged angels, and note that the back of the piece is worked in the area of the image. Compare with medals of the Virgen del Sagrario de Toledo, with the image of the Virgen de los Ángeles de Getafe, etc. Weight: 40 grams." · Size: 4,5x0.5x7 cms.
