About the Item

A late 1920s 35 mm Zeiss-Ikon cinema projector. Lens: Neokino 52.5/110 by Emil Busch A.-G. Rathenow. Original black paint. Lamp house contains the parabolic mirror. Provenance: Former Bornholm cinema in Denmark. Zeiss Ikon is a German company that was formed in 1926 by the merger of four camera makers (Contessa-Nettel, Ernemann, Goerz and Ica), and become part of the Carl Zeiss Foundation. Based in Dresden, Stuttgart and Berlin they produced cameras, projectors and other photographic equipment.
