Being sold in a decorative capacity as the Telescope would require professional restoration by a specialist to be functional. A magnificent antique Telescope for restoration or to be used decoratively Ca. 1850. They were appointed opticians and scientific instrument makers to the Crown and the British Admiralty. The scope lacking some parts. An adjustable mahogany tripod stand.

Condition: Please see detail photos. The Telescope is being sold in a decorative capacity although restoration may be pursued. There is wear, denting and pitting to the brass, lost pieces and worn stand however the presentation remains exceptional.
