About the Item
Antique mahogany wall barometer composed of a glass tube containing mercury with its reserve. On the upper part a gable-shaped pediment and a screwed brass plate with a small alcohol thermometer and a movable brass index for the barometer.
The brass plate is engraved with various scales and inscriptions: “Barometer Jecker à Paris”. France 1800-1805.
