About the Item

Telescopic acoustic cornet made of brass and Bakelite , English manufacture of the early 1900s. The principle of its operation is based on the reflection of sound on the inner walls, so that more energy from the propagation of sound waves is concentrated on the eardrum membrane. In fact, the narrower part is arranged near the ear, and the wider part collects sound waves. Good condition signs of use and welding. Measurements length open cm 34 - 13.4 inches, closed cm 18 - 7.1 inches, membrane diameter cm 7.5 - 3 inches. The last photo is the gift box.
