About the Item
This unusual set of postal letter scales has great eye appeal. They are made in brass with a complicated cantilevered balance movement. They are stamped for manufacture in Czechoslovakia.
They are used for weighing letters and post and have a scale for English post and a separate one for foreign post.
The remarkable aspect of these scales is their pristine condition, which remains untouched by the manufacturer.
They were discovered packed away in their original cardboard box and are in perfect condition, with no dents or damage, and retain their original lacquered finish. They are in what I can only describe as a time warp condition.
