A stunning pair of French Opera glasses clad in alternating Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell and Abalone shell, creating a striped / two-tone design.
They are in full working order, dating to c.1910 / 1920 and come complete with their original leather case, the push button opener with an initial "C" possibly for the French optical specialist, Chevalier or Paris.
Lovely condition and in full working order; the case measuring 4 1/2" x 2 5/8" x 2"
