About the Item
Pretty as a picture and in outstanding condition, this lovely pair of early twentieth century opera glasses come complete with their original case (wear commensurate with age).
The eye pieces and focusing wheel are made from carved and polished Mother of Pearl. They are decorated with the most lovely colour of golden yellow guilloche enamel with a good glossy patina showcasing the engine turned decoration below.
Excellent condition measuring 3 3/4" x 1 1/4"; 1 5/8" expanding to 2 1/8". The case measures 4" x 1 1/4" x 2 1/2".
