A very handsome and decorative French late 19th century Louis XVI st. giltwood barometer. Fine carvings of scrolls and foliate throughout with a lyre shape above the painted barometer façade. At the top above the thermometer is an impressive urn with acorn finial and laurel garland. With all original gilt throughout.
