Offered for your consideration is this Custom Fabricated Machined Wood Gunstock and Fitment Carraige and Wood Handgrip For A Bolex Motion Picture Camera. Built By The Famous Gunsmith Dale Williams In The Mid 20th Century. Dale was one of the original family owners of the Williams Gunsight Company of Davison Michigan. The company dates back to 1926 and is still thriving today as one of the largest and most respected in the country. Dale Williams 'signature' engraved his name and "Davison Michigan" on the metal frame of this custom gunstock and the hand made wood and metal work is outstanding. We recently purchased this from a collector and added a vintage Bolex motion picture camera so that is it now a complete and correct example of a gunstock cinema camera for film shooting of: wild game, other animals and safari activities. ~Like artifacts of an ancient civilization - these rare legends of early Motion Picture and related production equipment technology - have a secure and appreciating place in history.~ SHIPPING NOTE: If a shipping price is quoted here, it is GENERIC.
