About the Item

Stunning design and top quality executed antique barometer. This late 19th-early 20th century, English manufactured wall barometer has everything that makes an antique worthwhile. First of all, the quality of the workmanship is second to none. The carvings in this large, thick and heavy oak barometer are precise, sharp, symmetrical and with just the perfect depth. The design and execution of both the thermometer and barometer are highly stylish and aesthetically pleasing and the barometer is behind perfectly beveled glass. Secondly, this all handcrafted and antique 'weather station' is in perfect condition and the stunning oak has the most beautiful patina. The Corinthian style columns supporting the striking roof of this antique are great features and they will never fail to impress. Finally, both the thermometer and the barometer are in good working order and both are perfectly original and untouched. If you are looking for a top quality antique to grace your wall then this, again, is great value for money.
