About the Item

A fabulous pair of World War 1 British Officers Military binoculars made in France, the bridge engraved A. Tubeuf, Paris, created for the British Military for use during World War 1 in 1916. Both the brass on the binoculars and the leather case with the British military crows foot mark. The brass also engraved "Mk V Spr" and "82772". The binoculars are clad in a lovely embossed leather remaining in excellent condition, now over 100 years old and a true antique. They have integral sun shades. When closed up they measure 4 1/2" x 2 1/8" x 5 1/2" tall. The leather case measures 5 1/2" x 3" x 5 5/8". Superb condition having been professionally and meticulously polished restoring them to their former glory. The leather case has a lovely polished patina, measuring 5 3/4" x 3 1/4" x 6 3/4".
