About the Item
Set of two small wooden herbalist's apothecary vases (Althaea flowers, Ginko leaves) in the purest neoclassical style. The surface is finished with cream-white pastiglia with saffron-colored cartouche and gold-decorated trim, the names of the herbs in black. Coming from the herbalist-apothecary of a Sicilian convent. Italy around 1870. (also sold separately, 600 Euro each).
