About the Item

A small pocket telescope with one extension, lens holder and ring in amoretto wood (Brosimum Guianense); objective holder body in green painted and pressed cardboard with rich decoration stamped in gold at the edge of the inner element. The external element is enriched by a dark grey shagreen (Pastinachus sephen, Forrskål 1775) covering. France, end of XVIII century.
