Antique English Order of the Odd Fellows Society Trophy Award c1939 Silver plate.
Direct from England, just arrived in our most recent container, we have several of these one-of-a-kind English trophies that are brimming with provenance, and oh “the stories they could tell”!
This large oak plaque/trophy is highly engraved, with large, dimensional descriptive plaque at the top, as follows:
“INDEPENDENT ORDER OF ODD FELLOWS, Manchester Unity, FRIENDLY SOCIETY”
The center plaque has a dimensional replica of the Order of the Odd Fellows CREST with center multi-colored emblem.
There are 40 ‘shields’, each with the engraved year and name, in a year range of 1939 to 1982.
To the lower portion, the following engraving: 1939 YORKSHIRE CONFERENCE OF JUVENIE SOCIETIES. Presented By THE OTLEY JUVENILE SOCIETY 5607 Yorks. For Annual Competition to be Awarded to the District Showing Least Percentage of Lapses.
Measurements: 25.5” ht. x 18.75” x 2”.
