This is a beautiful antique French silver gilt pommel handled walking stick, circa 1890 in date
The striking stick features an ornate pierced gilt ball-shaped handle featuring superb acanthus leaf and foliage decoration on a gently tapering ebonised shaft.
The pierced ball shaped handle is fitted with a siren mechanism, if you blow strongly into the pierced top the siren will sound.
Add an extravagant element to your daily life with this wonderful walking cane.
