Superb Rare Polished Figured pale Malacca wood crook handled Stick of outstanding quality, enclosing its original polished steel Horse Measure which measures up to 17hh complete with brass folding arm to include a spirit level, firmly attributed to London stick maker Jonathan Howell late Nineteenth Century.
This quite unique piece with ebony crook handle above a tapering wooden shaft with original silver unusually long ferrule.
No visible hallmarks but tested as Sterling Silver.
Condition: Good condition with nice patination, the mechanism in very good firm condition which locks firmly.
*This is a stunning Walking Sword Cane in exceptional condition.
Length: (an impressive) 37" (94cm). Width: (grip) 4.5” (11cm).
