About the Item

Hardy Salmon fishing reel, The Super Silex Multiplier. This is a very rare reel in good working order, all original with natural wear and patination. The Hardy's Super Silex Multiplier is in excellent working order inside and outside. The ribbed brass foot is in original shape and the ivorine mounted brake lever and tension regulator screw with the ivorine quadrant casting dial are all in good condition. The face plate stamped "Made By Hardy Bros. Ltd., Alnwick, England, The "Super' Silex", Pat. Nos' 288101 and 145904, The "Silex Multiplier" Pat. Nos' 2206 9788/15". This is a fine collectors item. Dimensions: Height 9 cm / 3 1/2" Width 10 cm / 4" Depth 6 cm / 2 1/2" Period 1900-1949 Year 1930 - 1939 Medium Aluminum Country United Kingdom Signed Hardy bros. Condition Very good, consistent with age.
